The ATEX GPS antenna system, with an IP66 tightness rating, consists of an ATEX, IECEx 1.575.42 mHz antenna that can be used in zones 1 and 2.
The antenna is mounted on a light and compact ATEX box made of aluminum alloy used to accommodate the cables, with output through a cable gland (Ex d) for non-armored cable (sizes: 8/10.5mm – 10.5/13mm – 13/15.5mm – 15.5/18mm) of NPT. The wide range offered is able to meet specific customer requirements and can be installed in ATEX zones, areas with explosion risks classified as Zone 1 and 2 (hazardous areas).
