The Ex safety and isolation switch, allows to work with a machine being possible to make safely maintaining, cleaning and overhauling work as long as the switch is with OFF position. It’s formed by two components: A selector and the isolation module.
This kind of switches is used so much in any industry which use machines, because the electrical circuits and tri-phase asynchronous motors need the energy supply and the installation are separated, in places considered as potentially explosive, so the use zones are 1, 2, 21 and 22. The switch is protected by a stainless steel AISI 316L enclosure, specifically designed, waterproof, antirust and with IP66 protection degree.
