The oil plant has a surface area of 155 hectares, plus a further 2,27 hectares of the port concession in the south dock of the port. With a crude oil production capacity of 110.000 barrels per day, its facilities handle some 6 million tonnes of crude oil each year. BP's refinery in Castellón produces mainly gasoline, diesel, paraffin, naphtha, LPG, fuel oil, asphalt, coke and sulphur.
