Dublin airport has put the first hydrant system intro service, within the expansion and improvement project that is carrying out in the fuel storage facility. This new distribution network allows the underground transportation of Jet 1 from the storage terminal to aircraft supply points, which avoids the presence of road tankers on the airport platform and reinforces efficiency, security and sustainbility in the entire process.
As well as the distribution system, the company completed three new storage tanks, each with a 5,000 cubic metre capacity.
After checking the requirement of the customer, Atex Delvalle supplied the explosion proof enclosures Ex d, these enclosures are ready to be installed in areas classified Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, where there is danger of explosion and/or fire or presence of combustible dusts.
